In being and becoming the church God would have us to be, Brandon Presbyterian Church should:

Develop & Earn the Reputation of Being a Church Known for Strong Preaching and Teaching of Biblical Truth

§ Proclaim the Word of God with a winsome view toward transformation and obedience

§ Equip our people with the teaching of Reformed & Evangelical Faith

§ Bring about transformation in the lives of those we touch through a saving and sanctifying relationship with Christ

§ Actively train and employ members in ministries that will expand the reach of God’s kingdom

Develop a Missions and Outreach Program Through Which Our People Can Become Personally Involved in Soul Winning and Service

§ Equip our members to evangelize and serve Brandon, MS and the surrounding communities

§ Develop a heart for personal participation in Missions (Send 3 Teams out / year; 2 overseas, 1 local)

Develop a Method of Ministry Where Each Member of the Church is Loved (Nurtured & Cared For)

§ Provide each member with a sense of place and belonging

§ Provide sufficient organization and avenues for communication to meet the needs of the congregation (officers, staff, members)

§ Provide for the timely and sufficient help to meet our members needs (proactive, ongoing, response)

§ Double the size of our current membership and worship participation (all ages)

§ Increase the number of staff and officers

§ Develop and implement a plan for equipping and preparing members for future ministry and leadership

§ Start to build on the new property

§ Employ a model of ministry that does not allow segmentation

§ Promote and organize ministry that encourages interaction, interdependence and interparticipation among our membership

§ Develop and provide opportunities for increased participation and training of PCA/RTS pastoral students

§ Maintain the warmth and spirit of our church as we grow

Develop and Implement a More Efficient Operating System of Financial Management, Stewardship, and Accountability

§ Construct and maintain an operating budget that reflects our current and projected goals, giving, and expenditures

§ Provide regular and timely financial reports to appropriate leadership and committees

Develop on-site financial records for better access, accessibility, accountability and storage
of information
