Answer:
The Bible tells us that Jesus is the Messiah, the long awaited Savior.  The Bible tells us that Jesus is God.1  He is the second person of the Trinity,2 being very and eternal God, of one substance and equal to the Father.  The Bible tells us further that at just the right time he came into the world and took upon human flesh.3  Being fully God and fully man he became the mediator between God and man.4  As mediator and federal head, Jesus redeemed fallen man by living a sinless life to satisfy the righteous requirements of the law,5 by offering himself as an atoning sacrifice6 on the cross of Calvary for sin, and by rising from the dead that those he represented might have newness of life.7  According to God’s pleasure, purpose and plan,8 Jesus, submitted to, underwent and triumphed through the cross, proving himself to be God’s anointed and freely providing reconciliation thru his blood.9  This gift of God's GRACE is the good news of the gospel.10
