 Psalms 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light for my path.
Matthew 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before men,
that they may
see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
Matthew 6:23 But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be
full of
darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that
darkness!
John 3:19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but
men loved
darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.
John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I
am the light of
the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have
the
light of life."
John 12:35-36 Then Jesus told them, "You are going to have
the light just a
little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness
overtakes
you. The man who walks in the dark does not know where he is going. 36Put
your trust in the light while you have it, so that you may become sons of
light." When he had finished speaking, Jesus left and hid himself
from them.
Ephesians 5:8-10 For you were once darkness, but now you are
light in the
Lord. Live as children of light 9(for the fruit of the light consists in
all
goodness, righteousness and truth) 10and find out what pleases the Lord.
Ephesians 5:13-14 But everything exposed by the light becomes
visible, 14for
it is light that makes everything visible. This is why it is said:
"Wake up, O sleeper,
rise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you."
Philippians 2:15 so that you may become blameless and pure, children of
God
without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine
like
stars in the universe
1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we
have
fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us
from all sin.
