Isaiah 44:21-22 Remember
these things, O Jacob,
for you are my servant, O Israel.
I have made you, you are my servant;
O Israel, I will not forget you.
22 I have swept away your offenses like a cloud,
your sins like the morning mist.
Return to me,
for I have redeemed you.
Hosea 6:4 What can I do with you, Ephraim?
What can I do with you, Judah?
Your love is like the morning mist,
like the early dew that disappears.
Hosea 13:3 Therefore they will be like the morning mist,
like the early dew that disappears,
like chaff swirling from a threshing floor,
like smoke escaping through a window.
James 4:14-17 Why, you do not even know what will happen
tomorrow. What is
your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while
and then vanishes.
15Instead, you ought to say, If it is the Lords will, we will live and
do
this or that. 16As it is, you boast and brag. All such boasting is evil.
17Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn't
do it, sins.
