Hebrews
10:1-18 Such
a Superior Sacrifice Because
Christ offered the only acceptable sacrifice, you and I must depend on
him, and no other, for salvation. It
doesn’t matter what you try to offer to God to appease his wrath if
God is not pleased to accept your offering. Many
people today are trusting in and depending on sacrifices and offerings
that God tells us in his word he is not pleased with. The
only thing pleasing and acceptable to God is that which is fully in
compliance with his own will. The
only sacrifice and offering that God accepts as a basis for
justification is the bodily sacrifice of Christ, his son.
It
is by Christ’s “one time” sacrifice that we have been made
acceptable. Psalm
145 Providence
and the Preserving of the Nation When
all is said and done, it’s God who deserves our praise, forever. God
is to be praised for his greatness, his goodness and his glory. God
is great beyond measure. If
a little league baseball player deserves applause, then how much more so
the God of heaven? |

9 Such a Superior Way
With
the NEW ORDER, there’s a NEW & EFFECTUAL WAY to God! The
ordering of the Old Testament worship was designed and used by the Holy
Spirit (including purposefully limiting access to the Most Holy Place to
individuals) to show the people there must be a BETTER WAY to come. Christ
opened the way, that those who trust in him might have unhindered and
direct access to the Father. In
the New Order, Christ Jesus has not only disclosed the way, but has
become the way! Three
Benefits with the New Covenant: Forgiveness
of Sins; Removal of Guilt; and Salvation from Sinful Lives Genesis
37 A
Father’s View of the Death of the Son Because
God is able to bring about his eternal purpose, even in the face of
stiff and calculatied opposition, we should examine the history of our
forefathers to see how we should live. Outline: (1) The Nature
& Strategies of the Lord’s Enemies; (2) The Provisions of the
Lord’s Children;
(3) The Extent of the Lord’s Sorrows The
Sin Nature would rather ATTACK the Messenger than come under Authority,

God provides for us in a SIGNIFICANT WAY that we might be able to Endure

Hebrews
8 Such a Superior Ministry To
simply think of one who is alive according to what they have done in the
past is to miss the significance and the worth of what they are now
doing in ministry. The
Superiority of Jesus’ ministry ought to cause us to glory in Christ
Jesus, & to cast ALL others aside. Christ’s
ministry goes far beyond his earthly accomplishments, even that of the
cross; his ministry
includes participation in a glorious ministry that continues even this
day, ... and forever! Exodus
18 Why We Do
What We Do It's
possible for a leader to possess right motives and perform difficult
labor and still not do what is best. The
DIVISION & DELEGATION of Responsibilities among God’s People can
be a GOOD THING! Where
God leads, the leadership of the church must ensure selection of leaders
takes place, must provide the qualifications for that selection, teach
those who are selected by making God's laws and will known to them, show
them the way to live and the duties they are to perform, and have them
serve.

Hebrews
7:11-28 Such a Great Hope Confidence
in Christ Comes with a Comparison of the Better Covenant in Christ!
The
Law can show you your unrighteousness and your need for righteousness, but
it CANNOT change your heart and make you perfect! Only
through JESUS CHRIST can one obtain perfection. There is NOTHING Christ cannot save you from.

Hebrews
7:1-10
Such a Great High Priest The
Superiority of Christ (& his Priesthood) is seen in the example of
Melchizedek.
The Superiority of Christ is
found in Melchizedek’s relation to: (1) Abraham; (2) the Aaronic
Priesthood; and (3) Levi. Even
when Abraham was at the height of his power, he readily acknowledge that
there was one greater than him. Melchizedek
was a type for Christ who was to come. Melchizedek’s
(& therefore Christ’s) greatness is seen not just in the tithe
Abraham gave Melchizedek, but in the blessing Melchizedek bestowed upon
Abraham. The
evidence of whether we acknowledge the greatness of Christ is seen in
what we do with our tithe. If
a person is a true child of Abraham, he does not have the choice to
serve other gods, or multiple gods, etc.; but the Superiority of Christ
has been displayed for us thru Abraham. Philippians
3:1-11
The Gain of Losing In
order to obtain spiritual maturity, there must be change in your life
(in how you think, feel, respond, evaluate, etc.) If
you are the “same” as you have always been, you need to be concerned
because that’s a good indication you have not been growing
spiritually. There is a
direct relation between experiencing the joy of Christ and growing in
maturity. Mature
Believers NO LONGER Evaluate their Priorities:
(1) With the Eyes of the World, but with their Eyes on Christ;
(2) With affections for the things of this world, but with
affections for experiencing more of Christ; and (3)
With a view of rewards in this world, but with a view of rewards
in the world to come.

God's
people must NEVER GIVE UP because regardless of what we face in this take
hold of the hope that is held out to us in Christ. The
more confidence we have in the outcome of our lives, the more confidence we
will have along the way. God's
eternal and immutable position toward his people is to bless them. This
he has not only communicated but confirmed with an oath. I.
THE PERSON WHO WAITS UPON GOD WILL EVENTUALLY FIND THAT IT’S

THE REASON IT’S WORTH IT IS BECAUSE GOD IS DETERMINED TO BLESS

16:19-31 Hell from a
Distance God's
eternal position also includes cursing those who curse Christ. We
need to understand the Lord we choose to serve, the choices we make, and The
